About

In short, this is an outlet to talk about television and to spare those who have for so long politely listened to me ramble aloud about this or that show.

I got a DVR in early 2009 and it, obviously, changed how I watched television. I could start watching Mad Men, now that I didn't have to be tethered to my tv at the exact time and place.  I could start watching The Daily Show again and not have to stay up past 11 on a school night.  I probably don't watch more television than before but I do watch better television and I watch it more purposefully.  Kind of like how I buy steaks at Trader Joe's now instead of eating whatever Peapod needs to get rid of to clear its inventory.

It is a great time to be watching television via whatever vehicle you choose to watch it.  And you can watch television without owning a tv.  I have only a few hobbies and watching television is one of them.  That used to sound ridiculous but the quality of shows today is so high that watching television does qualify now.   Other hobbies include talking about television and reading about television.

Episode summaries can already be found in approximately infinity places on the Internets, so do not expect them here.
